I’ll be honest — I wasn’t totally sure what to expect with Dino Safari. My kids were excited, and I was just hoping it would be something they’d actually stay interested in.
Right away, my 4-year-old was a little intimidated by the roaring dinosaurs. It caught her off guard at first, but it didn’t take long before she warmed up and started getting into it — and once she did, she was all in.
And from there… it was game on.
There was so much for them to do, and it honestly felt more like an experience than just something to walk through. It’s one of those places where you think you’ll just pop in for a bit… and then suddenly you’ve been there way longer than you planned.
What My Kids Loved Most
• The bounce zone — my son was obsessed. It was hard to get him to leave (like, negotiating “5 more minutes” more than once, kind of hard). One of the inflatable areas is huge with climbing, sliding, and tons of space to run around, plus smaller options for little ones.
• The dino speedway — this was such a fun surprise, and yes… moms can ride too! They even play music while you’re riding, which makes it even more fun. I may or may not have fully committed to racing dinosaurs while jamming to the music — and honestly, that might’ve been my favorite part.
• The interactive dinosaurs — there are so many throughout the park, which kept them engaged the whole time
• The digging areas — between the dinosaur bone sandboxes and the gemstone “dino dig,” they could’ve stayed there forever
What Parents Should Know
A few things I’d want another mom to know before going:
• There’s a mix of free and paid activities (there is one free jumping option if you don’t want to purchase the full jumping zone)
• Food is your typical “fun day out” food — chicken fingers, fries (with different topping options), funnel cakes, lemonade, water, etc.
• There are two different train rides, plus playground-style features like seesaws (big and small) and a toddler play area
• It’s very kid-focused, but there’s enough to keep everyone entertained — even the “big kids”
The Part That Made It Worth It
We went during the day, which was great… but seeing everything lit up at night was hands down the best part.
Walking through the tunnels with all the lights and different setups completely changed the feel of it. It was one of those moments where you stop and think, “okay wait… this is actually really cool.”
My Honest Take
Overall, we had a really great time. The kids loved it, and honestly, that’s what matters most.
They were already asking to go back the next day… which tells me everything I need to know. (And if your kids are anything like mine, that’s about the highest level of approval you’re going to get.)
Thinking About Going?
If you’re looking for something different to do with your kids, this is definitely one to check out — especially if your kids love dinosaurs or just need a place to run, play, and explore.
